Patty Jackson’s angelic voice, her stunning finger style guitar licks, the sweet sound of her ukulele, and the funked-up chords of her minty green baritone guitar. Patty’s musical style is a unique fusion of folk, rock, and country with a touch of jazz. Born in central New York, Patty was given some Joan Baez tickets when she was 15 years old, and that changed the trajectory of her life. She was bitten by the music bug and over the years she formed several bands, cutting her teeth on bar gigs. She soon started playing the college circuit, folk clubs, and coffeehouses in New England and New York with her band, Wildfire. In addition to performing around town, the band also played for Hillary Clinton during her run for senator from New York. In 2004, Patty moved to Colorado and joined Resonance, The Women’s Chorus of Boulder. There she met bandmates who formed the group,
