From Tim's son Nicholas Garst: Updated 12/11/2019 Updated Again 12/12/2019 Tim's Celebration of Life Service will be next Sunday, December 15th from 11am to 2pm at Gallery 1874 in Olde Town Arvada. From 11am to 12pm, we will have people speaking, so if you would like to be present for that, we ask that you arrive prior to 11am to avoid interrupting speakers with people filtering in and out. After 12pm, people will be free to come and go as they please. Coffee and pastries will be provided, and please dress casually and eccentrically, like Tim would want us to. Due to the size of the venue, we ask that you do not bring along children. Parking near the venue consists of street parking, a couple public lots in Olde Town, and the light rail parking garage just south of Olde Town. There will be a cash bar at the Celebration of Life service as well. After the service, we will be moving over to La Dolce Vita from 2pm to 5pm for an open mic in remembrance of Tim. Please bring your own instrument if you wish to play at La Dolce Vita, as there will not be instruments provided. If you would rather just speak, read a poem, or something similar, that is also welcome. The addresses are below, and please message me with any questions. We have some great music lined up for this weekend. Friday or tonight from 7pm to 10pm is the very fun Blues jam. Come and play or stay and listen to some great music. Then Saturday is the Rhubarbains from 7pm to 10pm. If you have never heard them play then you have missed out and this is a great opportunity. If you have heard them play then you know what I am talking about. Sunday is Cellist Daria Joanna from 10am to 1pm.
